WORKSHOP
This new construction 400 sf outbuilding serves many purposes - a woodshed, a home office, a retreat for busy parents, a guest suite and a play space! Ample wood storage at the front of the building is sufficient for the main house as well as for the little Morso stove in the shed. Big corner windows in front of the desk provide a serene treehouse atmosphere for the workspace, and the kitchenette is stocked with coffee and tea, as well as after work beverages. Armchairs and a wood stove make for a comfortable retreat, and the guest suite is just a pull-down Murphy bed away, with a full bath tucked in behind the kitchenette. A library ladder allows access to all of the shelving as well as to a cozy loft space. This efficient building is fossil-fuel free, utilizing a heat pump for heating and cooling and the wood stove for supplemental heat and ambience.
